Sea Oriya Gira is an independent film director based in Los Angeles, California.

Her work spans narrative, dance, music, and editorial media, all guided by a mission to transcend audiences towards emotional clarity and healing, and a passion for abstract and otherworldly visual-audio experiences. Raised in a household shaped by political, generational, and marital conflict, and racially isolated as a Thai-American in the American Midwest, she developed a deep affinity for empathy, spirituality, and emotional intuition. These personal lessons guide her creative vision to expose silent veils of shame and suffering, and to empower viewers in a way that is cathartic, honest, and ethereal.

Sea is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts with a BFA in Film and Television Production.
