“It’s Only A Feeling” delves into the tension between the individual and collective experiences, particularly in early adulthood—a period where the pursuit of personal identity and self-discovery often conflicts with the demands of selflessness in order to find community. The choreography and film seek to foster a deeper awareness of both ourselves and others, showing that understanding the impermanence of our emotional landscapes allows us to embrace life with more grace, empathy, and an openness to the communities and people that shape and sustain us.
